When Bill Smithson IV of The Twisted Road Transport came to MaineStream Finance in early 2025, he was in need of financing for truck repairs to keep his business moving forward. That investment helped his business build momentum and grow. ![]()

After adding new vendor partnerships and growing demand for his services, Bill returned later that same year for a second loan to purchase a specialized trailer for hauling lumber, logs, and freight and hired an additional driver along the way.![]()
